El próximo 15 de febrero se llevará a cabo la 58° edición de los premios Grammy en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos. En la ceremonia, se reconocerá a lo más destacado de la industria musical.
El rapero Kendrick Lamar lidera las nominaciones al ser elegido en 11 categorías, como Álbum del año, Canción del Año, Álbum de Rap, Performance de Rap, Canción de Rap, entre otras. Mientras que la estrella del pop Taylor Swift y el intérprete canadiense The Weeknd fueron seleccionados en siete categorías.
Entre los artistas latinos, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Sanz y Julieta Venegas fueron nominados como Álbum pop latino, junto con el español Pablo Alborán y el cubano Alex Cuba. Además, los colombianos de Bomba Estéreo y Monsieur Periné, el rapero estadounidense de origen cubano Pitbull; los nicaragüenses de La Cuneta Son Machín y la mexicana Natalia Lafourcade competirán en la categoría Álbum latino de rock urbano o alternativo.
